A/C hoses and lines carry refrigerant between the compressor, condenser, dryer, and evaporator under high and low pressure. Over time, rubber hoses crack from heat and ozone exposure, and aluminum lines corrode or develop pinhole leaks at fittings. Even a small refrigerant leak will eventually disable the entire A/C system and can lead to compressor damage from running without adequate lubrication.
At True Truck Parts, we carry OEM-spec A/C lines for major semi truck makes including Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, Volvo, Mack, and International. Serving Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Milton, Oakville, Burlington, and the broader GTA. Same-day quoting, Canada-wide delivery.
Signs include oily residue at fittings or along the hose, A/C cooling performance gradually declining over weeks, refrigerant dye visible under UV light at connection points, or a hissing sound near lines when the system is pressurized. A manifold gauge set will confirm low refrigerant pressure caused by a slow leak.
Rubber hose sections with minor damage can sometimes be repaired with splice fittings as a temporary measure, but this is not a permanent fix. Aluminum lines with cracked fittings or corrosion should be replaced entirely. For a commercial truck that runs daily, replacing the failed line is the correct long-term solution.
Yes, we carry both high-pressure discharge lines (compressor to condenser) and low-pressure suction lines (evaporator to compressor) for major semi truck makes and models. Contact us with your part number or truck year, make, and model to confirm fitment.
